
Gerald R. Williams. M.A., serves as an Implementation Support Specialist for Implementation Scientists, LLC.
Most recently, he served as the executive director of elementary education for the Nampa School District in Idaho. He was also the director of educational services for the Placer County Office of Education in California for nine years. As a site administrator of diverse and high-poverty schools, Gerald provided effective leadership, which led to large gains in student academic outcomes.
Gerald has a strong record of success in the effective implementation of core components of PLCs and Academic RtI principles used in the development and implementation of interventions and Evidenced-Based Practices designed to the specific needs of students. He has extensive knowledge in training administrators and staff in the development of formative assessments and the use of student achievement data to inform instruction and interventions.
Gerald also has experience providing targeted support to school improvement districts and school sites. He has also received comprehensive training in Applied Implementation Science (AIS) through the National Implementation Research Network (NIRN) at University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill. In 2014, he was appointed as a member of the National Advisory Board for State Implementation & Scaling-up of Evidenced-based Practices (SISEP).
Gerald holds a Master’s of Arts in School Administration from Azusa Pacific University and a Bachelor’s of Science in Education, specializing in Elementary Education from Missouri Southern State College.
